Freedom Foundation Intern Wins Legislative Seat

NickMany of our interns go on to do great things, but it’s always exciting when one gets elected to local office. It’s happened before, when Hans Zeiger won in Puyallup two years ago by a narrow margin and again this past election by a much healthier number, and now it’s happened again, albeit out of state.

We would like to congratulate former intern Nicholas Schwaderer on his victory in Montana’s District 14 Representative race!

Nick had this to say after winning:

According to Schwaderer, a large part of helping involves adhering “to the principles and convictions I articulated during the campaign.”

“That’s what people voted on and I need to stay at that base,” Schwaderer said.

Knowing Nick, that means that Montana will have another voice that champions free market principles and transparent, responsible government.

You can read more about his campaign victory at the Clark Fork Valley Press and leave Nick a quick note of congratulations over at his Facebook page.
