Video: Bill would repeal National Popular Vote

This morning, at the request of a legislator, I testified before Washington's House Committee on Government Operations and Elections. The bill up for a hearing would do two things. First and, I believe, most important, it would repeal the legislation entering our state into the National Popular Vote interstate compact. It would also switch the way our state awards electoral votes from winner-take-all to the system used in Maine and Nebraska based on Congressional Districts.

The first video below is the staff explanation of HB 1091 and bill sponsor Rep. Matt Shea's testimony. The second video is my testimony. Below that are two videos I recorded in our Freedom Foundation media studio talking about the two issues involved in this bill.
