Citizens Speak up Against Thurston County's No Shooting Ordinance

Thurston County "listened," and they changed the name to "Controlled Shooting" ordinance. I guess Thurston County thinks that sounds better, and maybe they believe people won't pay attention to what this ordinance actually does. Change the name, and then everyone will think it is okay, regardless of what is written.

Do students and families? The Freedom Foundation believes in bringing accountability to public higher education in Washington state so that students, families, taxpayers, and policymakers can answer these questions.

A Memorial Day Tribute: My Brother, an American Hero

I was 13, lying on the couch in the living room because there were two or three to a bed in my house. I had experienced a tonsillectomy, was unable to talk or sleep, and I was in a great deal of pain. My mother had spent 24 hours by my side, administering love and warm liquid to comfort my throat. It was 1947.

Stop Thurston County

Thurston county bureaucrats are out of control. They are using rodents, weeds and bugs as an excuse to take 177,000 acres of land and harm over 50,000 property owners. Property owners in Thurston County are not being compensated for government regulation-inspired land grabs, all the while having to continue paying property taxes.
