Cost of Government Day Announced

The Americans for Tax Reform Foundation (ATR) announced today that 2012’s national Cost of Government Day will fall this Sunday on July 15th. This means that the average worker has to work 197 days of the year to pay for their share of the spending and regulatory burdens imposed by local, state, and national government.

Sen. Adam Kline characterizes election integrity as "unpatriotic" and a "conspiracy"

State Senator Adam Kline resigned the Sunshine Committee after losing a vote to prevent it from discussing an issue related to election integrity. In doing so and in subsequent comments, he has accused the Freedom Foundation and anyone who favors secure elections of being part of a grand scheme to disenfranchise voters. These accusations are serious and seriously absurd.
